Teaching

Undergraduate

Undergraduate training in Linguistics is conducted primarily through the School of Language Studies in the Faculty of Arts as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree program. Honours programs in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics are also offered. For more information see Study@ANU or the School of Language Studies information for undergraduate students.


Postgraduate

The ANU offers a number of coursework diploma and masters programs in linguistics, applied linguistics and translation studies. PhDs are by thesis and generally do not require coursework. Further information on PhD programs can be found on our prospective students page.
